Calcium is a much-needed element in a Marine or Reef Aquarium, as Corals need it for their growth and development and to stay attached to their exoskeleton. This Calcium gap is well fulfilled by one of its best supplement forms, Calcium Kalkwasser, which contains Calcium Hydroxide and a type of Calcium, known as Pure Calcium. Calcium Kalkwasser raises the pH and KH/alkalinity levels of the aquarium water to keep these parameters to the desired levels, which are otherwise disturbed due to evaporation. Kent Marine Liquid Reactor. This Calcium Kalkwasser is a Calcium Buffer, which well replaces any Calcium Reactor Systems, CO2 Tank, Solenoid, and pH Controller, with practically no chances of CO2 overdose, which in turn lead to algae health and/or pH implications. In addition, Reef Advantage Calcium also contains an optimally effective mix of Magnesium and Strontium, which keeps the aquarium water stabilized for these elements too. This allows one to maintain these two important elements while maintaining calcium.

Seachem Reef Kalkwasser. This Calcium Kalkwasser is pure and optimally soluble Calcium Hydroxide, which compensates for the mineral loss in the aquarium water due to evaporation. The solution replenishes Calcium directly in the aquarium water, while it indirectly boosts the water’s alkalinity. In addition, Reef Kalkwasser also precipitates Phosphates and other impurities from water, while keeping the aquarium water pH high, which is required for the complete Calcification and for Oxidizing different organic substances present in a Reef Aquarium.

CaribSea AragaMilk by CaribSea. This Calcium Kalkwasser is safe to use and its minerals are available in the aquarium water in the solution form with a pH of about 8.2. The solution also stabilizes the Carbonate Hardness (KH) of the aquarium water to the desired level, which in turn checks harmful KH levels. Disbalanced KH may result in fish “shock,” with implications as extreme as their death.
